Welcome to SilCArt.

I was first introduced to Precious Metal Clay in 2006 and soon realised how fascinating this clay medium is. I have since added colour, depth and vitality to my pieces by incorporating Resin and Polymer Clay.

Own? Or make your own?

The gallery provides images of some of my pieces - many are for sale. Please contact me for details. For those who aren't content to just own a special fine silver piece and would like to learn to make their own, I run workshops in the Adelaide region. Details can be found on the workshops page.

Feb/March Workshop Dates Announced.

I have four workshops scheduled for February and March so check them out on the workshops page.

Tell Me What You Want.

Ever wanted to have a say on what workshops are on offer? Well now you can, simply by contacting me and telling me what you want to learn. I can tailor my workshops to meet your needs so if you want to learn a particular technique just let me know!

New Metal Clays now Available - BRONZclay and COPPRclay.

Relatively new to the market are two metal clays to tempt those new to the craft or those who already have experience in silver clay. BRONZclay and COPPRclay have recently been released in Australia and offer amazing diversity in working with metal clay because it is so affordable. I will be offering workshops using these clays in 2010 so if you would like to express your interest in attending please contact me.

Girls Night In - Support the Cancer Council by making jewellery with friends.

The Cancer Council runs a national campaign to raise funds to fight women's cancers - since 2005 they have raised over $12 million in total. During September/October girls from around the country get together with friends and family for a social activity to help raise funds. Having lost a sister to breast cancer I know the amazing job that the Cancer Council do and that the money raised is going to a worthy cause - one that touches just about everyone of us in at least a small way.

This year I would like to invite you to get together a group of ladies (approximately 10) and host a Girls Night In Jewellery Workshop where I will come and teach you how to make a beautiful polymer clay necklace - at the end of the night you will all be wearing one. The workshop can be tailored to meet your needs (an all day workshop or just an evening) and all my profits will be donated to the Cancer Council Girls Night In campaign as part of your host fundraising.

For more information about the Cancer Council campaign visit Girls Night In. If you would like to book a night of fun with the girls making jewellery then contact me.
